Nick Cannon is officially the host with the most.
The star will headline the first-ever PEOPLE Magazine Awards, a two-hour special spotlighting the year in pop culture.
“Looking forward to an amazing night and hopefully this will launch a new category for PEOPLE to name me Sexiest Host Alive in 2015,” he said.
Cannon, 34, certainly knows his way around Hollywood: the actor, rapper and comedian has plenty of hosting experience from his days on MTV’s Wild N Out and his current gig with America’s Got Talent.
Plus, singer Josh Groban, actor Ryan Guzman, model Kate Upton and The Mindy Project’s Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina are set to join the night’s slate of star attendees like Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lopez.
The awards, presented in collaboration with NBC and Dick Clark Productions, will also offer ample opportunity to rock out with performances by both 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5.
