Nick Co-Created K-Pop Inspired Series “Make It Pop” Gets Nickelodeon Greenlight

Nick will be bringing the energy and spirit of K-Pop from the East to West.

Nickelodeon has green-lit for the movie and later cable tv series titled “Make It Pop” which was created by Nick and Thomas Lynch. The series and film were previously titled “The Drop”.

The movie and series will center around three teenage girls who meet at an international school and bond over a love of music, in particular KPop and decide to form their own group gaining fame at the school.

It will starMegan Lee as Sun Hi, a student who is an expert at using social media, Louriza Tronco will play Jodi, Sun Hi’s fashionable roommate, and Erika Tham as the bookish classmate.

The show has been picked-up for 20 episodes. The show will be a half-hour and feature all-new and original songs and performances with every episode.
