Chase Bank alongside Facebook and Google are sponsoring the Mission Main Street grant program to small town businesses across the country.
There will be 20 recipients for this years grant program. The total amount given out will be $3 million.
Participants who receive a minimum of 250 votes via www.missionstreetgrants.com qualify to go onto the second round which ends on October 17th. Voters must use their Facebook account to vote. To be eligible for the grant, the owner must be a U.S. citizen and the business must be around for at least two years and have fewer than 100 employees. Grants will be awarded in January.
Nick has been chosen as well as co-host of ABC’s daytime show “The Chew”, Carla Hall to be apart of the 15 judge panel who will help select the winner.
Representatives from Chase and a variety of other nationally known companies also will be involved in the selection process.
