Nick To Be A Recurring Guest on ‘Brooklyn-Nine-Nine’

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to explore more of Captain Holt’s (Emmy nominee Andre Braugher) home life and family.

America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon has booked a multiple-episode arc on the Fox sophomore comedy, the network announced Tuesday.

Cannon will recur as Marcus, Holt’s charming and educated nephew who just moved to the city and will stay with his uncle until he finds his own place. Cannon will make his debut in December.

The actor becomes the latest high-profile guest star to head to Brooklyn. He joins Kyra Sedgwick, currently recurring as Holt’s nemesis; Craig Robinson as the elusive Pontiac Bandit; Eva Longoria as a D.A. who catches Jake’s (Andy Samberg) eye; and Patton Oswalt as Fire Marshall Boone, among others.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.

Cannon, who also is exec producing and reprising his role in VH1’s Drumline reboot, also counts Bobby and The Killing Room among his credits. He’s repped by ICM Partners, Chaz Hayes and Del Shaw.
