Nick To Direct Rom-Com “Three Little Words”

“America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon will direct the independent romantic comedy “Three Little Words,” with Mike Karz and William Bindley producing through their Gulfstream Pictures banner.

The Exchange acquired international rights for the project and will launch sales next week in Berlin.

“Three Little Words” is the story of a group of people dealing with various romantic relationships as they try to summon the courage to say those three simple words: “I love you.” Allison Burnett wrote the script.

“Three Little Words” is in pre-production and has a U.S. distribution deal in place, to be announced later.

Karz’s credits include “Blended,” “New Year’s Eve” and “Valentine’s Day.” Bindley was a producer on “The Nut Job.”

Gulfstream’s Josie Rosen will executive produce with Michael Goldman through Goldman and Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment.

Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment produces music video countdown show “Teen Nick Top 10,” Nickelodeon’s “React To That” and “Wild ‘n Out” on MTV2. He made his feature directorial debut with “School Dance” for Lionsgate.

Burnett wrote and directed “Ask Me Anything based on his novel “Undiscovered Gyrl.” His writing credits also include “Underworld: Awakening,” “Fame” and “Resurrecting The Champ.”

Cannon and NCredible are repped by ICM Partners. Burnett is repped by Paradigm.
