7-Year Old Susan Reviews “Roc & Roe’s 12 Days of Christmas”

With the Christmas just days away and and family members scrambling for last minute presents, 7-year-old Susan Faith of San Francisco gives her take on Nick’s childrens author debut “Roc and Roe’s 12 Days of Christmas”.

Check out below what Susan had to say:

I had fun reading this new book called Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas. I even read this more than one time! The book is about two young children whose names are Roc and Roe. They are a little boy and a little girl, and their real names are Moroccan and Monroe. Nick Cannon is their daddy, and Mariah Carey (the singer!) is their mommy. Nick Cannon wrote this book and AG Ford illustrated the book.

“On the second day of Christmas, Roe put on their Christmas tree two singing Santas and an angel with sparkly, shiny wings.”

The pictures are very pretty and also colorful. The illustrations show Roc and Roe wearing different outfits and decorating a Christmas tree. My favorite part was when the kids sing “FIVE GOLDEN BELLS” because that seems fun. The book sounds like the carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas” so that makes this a special book. “On the second day of Christmas, Roe put on their Christmas tree two singing Santas and an angel with sparkly, shiny wings.” Children who like Christmas songs and plays on words will enjoy this book. I am going to read this book again.
