Oxygen Develops Reality Show Executive Produced By Nick

As part of its network rebranding, Oxygen Media has unveiled its new logo and tagline –”very real” — which is scheduled to launch October 7.

“This is a dynamic time for Oxygen as we rebrand and reinforce the
network as the destination for young female viewers,” Frances Berwick, president of Bravo & Oxygen Media, said in a statement. “With nine new series, we are committed to increasing original programming with vibrant and bold shows that are in line with our new programming filter and target this underserved audience.”

The cable net also announced the greenlight of two new programs, “It Takes A Sister” and “After Happily Ever After,” and three new projects in development, “The Assistants,” “Party INC.” and “Stranded At Work”:

“The Assistants” (working title)

Produced by NCredible Entertainment with Nick Cannon and Michael Goldman as executive producers in assn. with Evolution Media and Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin and Greg Stewart as executive producers.

The show was conceptualized and created by Dollie Bishop. She currently is also one of the producers for TeenNick’s music video countdown show, Teen Nick Top 10.

Being a boss is tough, but being an assistant is impossible. This project follows the dynamic and hard-working assistants to the biggest mavens and moguls in the Atlanta entertainment scene from celebrities to record executives. With blood, sweat and tears, these ambitious 20-somethings are willing to do whatever it takes to learn the ropes one step at a time so they can climb the ranks. These assistants are exposed to a life of privilege at work, traveling on private jets and attending lavish red carpet events, however, at the end of the day, they struggle just to pay rent and find time for their own personal lives.
